In line with the vision, mission and purpose of the IMTA we have developed numerous publications to disseminate information to our members. Here is a breakdown of the publication types and how to gain access to them.

Digital News

This is the official newsletter of the IMTA. In it's pages you will find announcements, committee reports, articles pertaining to the practice of IMT, notes from the past board meetings and activities, a message from the current IMTA president, listing of board members and contacts, and more. This publication is available to all member categories and the general public and is distributed quarterly.

Tech Bulletin

From Dr. Sharon Giammatteo this one-page clinical update has come to be a favorite of the professional members. In a brief or bulleted format members receive explanation and instruction in the latest and greatest IMT technology. Often clinical tools are included in this bulletin which is delivered to professional members throughout the year as new materials arise.

Evidence-Based Practice

In any emerging practice the question is often, "Where is it written". This publication which is generally distributed following a new course in IMT provides the answer to this question. Usually in the form of a literature review this publication presents the current medical literature pertaining to an IMT topic or practice. This is available to IMTA professional member and is directly distributed to those who received the pertaining course. Other professional members can view and download these publications from this site.

The Journal of the IMTA

The Journal is a vehicle for peer reviewed research in IMT. Contents include original research, editorials, review articles and more. This publication is free for professional members and can be purchased by all others. Coming in February 2008, professional members will receive a print copy of the newest Journal by mail in addition to the electronic copy they currently receive.
